Bendon Group is seeking a **Business Services Lead **to join our Auckland support office in Airport Oaks

In turn we will offer you:

- Work from home, Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Summer Hours over January and February

Lead the business services function across AP, AR and fixed assets. **Manage up to 3 other people,** working cohesively to support timely delivery of all financial aspects including bank reconciliations, cashflow forecast, lease and rental activities.

You will **work closely with the Senior Financial Accountant** across Month-End processes and reporting to deliver the requirements for all necessary internal and external stakeholders. You will be highly diligent, capable to work in a fast-paced environment and an excellent communicator to mentor and lead your team to achieve success.

We are looking for someone who is available for a six-month fixed term contract to work in with the needs of the business.

**What **will you** **be responsible for**?**
- Contribute to the completion of accurate accrual accounting, consolidation, fixed asset accounting, provisions and manual journals for month end close
- Support the Senior Financial Accountant in maintaining accurate completion of balance sheet reconciliations
- Timely reporting for internal and external audit requirements, including statutory reporting to the external bodies
- Support continuous integration of existing financial operations with the ERP system, Oracle Nestuite
- Managing a team of up to 3 Business Services Administrators in training and developing them in their role for accuracy and diligence

**What would make you **successful**?**
- You will be CA qualified, with workplace experience in a similar role
- Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities, and an understanding of ERP systems
- Relative AP/AR transactional experience, within a retail company is a bonus
- Prior experience in leading and managing people within an accounting function
- Shows resilience and excellence through ability to manage workload in a fast paced environment, proactive communication, and a willingness to learn
