Te tūnga | The role
As a Technical Lead you will contribute to the Outputs Service Line - leading work in the data and information dissemination space.
You will work closely with project and business partners in providing technical leadership and expertise across our services, ensuring solutions meets our design, development standards and customer needs.
You are a confident leader who works well with diverse stakeholders in advancing delivery. You will have ultimate understanding of the technical product and understand the vision and value of our services, communicating this clearly. You will work closely with architecture cohorts in having end to end solution responsibility. You will have experience of Scrum and uphold technical project/product activities.
It's an exciting time to join Stats NZ as we launch a new ADE, representing a major commitment for our users in making data easier to discover and use. ADE will be a flagship service and you will play a crucial role in improving the service technology, and just as importantly, informing our people, processes so we can continue to improve the health of Aotearoa's data system fully.

- While we offer flexible working, the team are Wellington based and the role will involve a lot of work in our new central city office.
