Our client is a market-leading global luxury appliance company, at the forefront of design and innovation. This is an opportunity to join their in-house agency, in the Marketing Team, based in South Auckland. **Scope of the role**:

- Leads the development and execution of marketing collateral across, Traditional Media, Trade/Retailer, Experiential, Owned and PR mediums, drawing from the Brand guidelines, for new and existing collateral ensuring an engaging brand experience across all touch points, whilst maintaining the brand’s integrity.
- Delivers creative and brand aligned solutions to complex and challenging marketing initiatives.
- Identifies and leads initiatives to continuously improve the customer experience of the brand and make lives a little better through marketing design.
- Delivers effective, and integrated designed solutions, leading a design team.
- Works in conjunction with Global Marketing, Brand & Content teams to continuously improve the customer experience of the brand, making lives better through design.

**Role Responsibilities**:
**Planning & Delivery**
- Contributes and delivers against marketing design plans, planning workload for the marketing design team
- Plans own work to achieve timely and effective outcomes, ensuring plans are visible to key stakeholders
- Staying current in brand direction and best marketing design practice techniques and technologies
- Leads how we visually appear across collateral, working alongside the brand team, provides mentorship to the marketing design team
- Work to build a roadmap alongside the Brand Creative Directors, for the core brands

- Proactively reviews, scopes, and prioritises new requests
- Actively collaborates within design function, and wider organisation to deliver exceptional designed experiences including experiential, marketing communications, product collateral and brand related activity
- Designs and delivers both print and digital executions
- Upholds integrity of the brand by understanding the essence of the brand and all associated visual elements and delivering to it
- Creates high-quality, on-brand design components in a timely manner
- Executes design improvement opportunities across all collateral to promote the brand
- Understand consumer facing marketing material, outputs
- Works to a high standard of detail, proofing work, copy writing across consumer facing material
- Efficient design processes, ensuring you can deliver to high brand standards within tight turnaround time, error free
- Ensures knowledge, insights, best practice is shared across business functions
- Liaises and works with internal teams, external agencies and third parties to drive design activity
- Contributes to, and documents design specifications to support design consistency and efficiencies

The role requires a minimum of 5+ year’s graphic/digital design experience, brand side or agency background, you are a creative design thinker who demonstrates experience in visual design capability and has the ability to design for multiple media types. You can balance the brand with the needs and goals of the customer.
Proficient in using Adobe CC including Figma and After Effects. Experience with video editing and basic animation for digital marketing outputs and HTML5 advantageous.
