The opportunity:
AIA NZ are currently recruiting for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Brand & CX team. This is a newly created role so there is plenty of opportunity to make it your own.

The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Brand & CX in delivering brand campaigns and initiatives that build the AIA/AIA Vitality brands in New Zealand. The successful implementation of brand activities will contribute to the overall commercial success of AIA NZ, delivering on our brand promise.

About the role:
- Support the Head of Brand & CX with the implementation of brand campaigns, branded content and brand/sponsorship-related initiatives.- Work collaboratively and build effective relationships with the Brand & CX team specifically, the wider Customer Team and a range of stakeholders across the business.- Maintain brand performance and tracking reports, and aid the compilation of executive reports or presentations as required.- Contribute to effective financial management by maintaining brand budget spreadsheets & reports.- Support the day-to-day management of agency and supplier partners, ensuring delivery to their full contractual and work obligations.- Assist with the creation of brand internal communications and go-to-market plans, connecting our people to our brand.- Help with the evaluation of commercial sponsorship/partnership requests and implementation of sponsorship activities.- Champion the implementation of and adherence to AIA Brand Standards and other brand guidelines across AIA NZ, ensuring compliance with AIA Group policy.- Perform other tasks as required by the Head of Brand & CX to support the AIA NZ business.

About you- 2+ years experience in a brand or marketing related role- Preferably large corporate or agency experience- Highly organized, methodical and professional approach to work- Enthusiastic hard worker, dynamic and ambitious- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.- Good analytical skills, able to work with data and present in a concise way- Pro-active, a curious learner who is able to adapt and grow- Self-motivated, takes ownership and able to work independently as well as a team player- Relevant tertiary qualification
