**About the role**
- Provide payment security expertise in the development of payment hardware and software platforms.
- Responsible for architecting and ensuring the security and compliance of our payment systems and infrastructure.
- Design security solutions with a focus on encryption, key management, and payment security, ensuring adherence to industry standards like PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
- Leadership in cybersecurity, compliance, certifications and secure payment solutions to protect our customers, products and services from evolving cyber threats.

**Requirements**:
**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer, Engineering, or related technical degree required.
- Understanding of Linux OS, C++
- Understanding of Key Management and Cryptography
- Understanding of Cloud and Mobile Security
- Background in PKI Architecture and Implementation
- Experience with PCI, ANSI and ISO payment industry standards.
- Background in Network Security Architecture
- Background in physical security of payment hardware
- Proven experience as a Security Architect or in a similar role, with a strong focus on payment security, encryption, and key management.
- Extensive experience in maintaining compliance with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and other relevant security and regulatory frameworks.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices, especially related to payment systems.
- Expertise in implementing encryption protocols, cryptographic algorithms, and secure key management solutions.
- Experience with risk assessments, security audits, and compliance reviews.
- Familiarity with cloud security, network security, and secure software development practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or PCI-related certifications are a plus.
- Experience in payment processing environments, including working with financial institutions and understanding transaction flows.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability management.
- Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, etc.) and understanding cloud security architecture.
- Must be able to travel (travel requirements generally less than 25%)
