Are you an experienced generalist HR practitioner who thrives on working alongside and influencing business leaders?Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role Reporting to the People Business Partner, you will be fully immersed in delivering people advisory and employment relations support to business managers and their teams within the Te Kei region (which covers Otago and Southland).
- Working on complex ER issues.
- Coaching leaders.
- Building effective professional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Facilitating the delivery of regional and national people-based initiatives into the region.

**Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you'll bring to the role**: You'll be authentic, self-motivated, highly focused, and able to multi-task. You'll need to be a savvy, quick thinker with a demonstrated ability to convey information and ideas articulately. Sometimes you will need to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into HR Operational tasks therefore a “can-do” attitude will ensure your success. Within this role, you will create a reputation for strong performance across a range of HR disciplines and ideally have experience working in a complex business environment. As a team player, your approachability and passion to deliver results-focused service delivery is a must. To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:

- Have well-developed interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in resolving complex ER matters.
- A good knowledge of current New Zealand employment law and contemporary HR practices.
- Proven experience developing strong relationships.
- The ability to travel around the Lower South Island as required.

The salary range for this role is $112,415 - $124,906 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.Ko wai mātou - who are we?
