No two schools or learners are the same, and our Outreach Teachers are committed to providing individualised support to enable every learner to experience success in their school environment. In this role you will collaborate closely with the team around each learner. This includes class teachers, support staff, wider school staff, Ministry of Education (MOE), and whānau.

We would love to meet you if you have:

- Experience working 1:1 or in small groups with special needs students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A collaborative approach to working within a team to build capability and achieve shared goals
- The ability to share ideas and demonstrate specialist teaching approaches
- A current and clean driver’s licence and a willingness to use your own vehicle and be reimbursed for travel expenses incurred.

This position commences in Term 1 2025, or as negotiated. School visits are welcome.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Primary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers for 2025 currently ranges from $61,329 - $103,086, depending on your qualifications and experience. Your base salary will be established by a salary assessment once you have been appointed.
