**The Opportunity**:
This role is
**based in Christchurch**, and would suit an outgoing team player with strong communication, relationship building and time management skills with a passion for providing outstanding customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate our values, through actions that help the business achieve its mission, to position our clients to financially survive any insurable event
- Servicing of renewals, new business, alterations and endorsements in line with our client commitments
- Setting up new policies, arranging finance agreements and collecting premiums within the required timeframes to meet our client commitments
- Delivering product advice and services that are appropriate to a limited range of contexts/situations that are compliant with legislation and our commitment to customer service
- Resolve client queries on commercial fire & general insurance (account queries, cover queries, policy amendments etc.)
- Proactively cross sell and promote suitable products to clients including premium funding, cyber risk, domestic insurance and life and health to meet their needs
- Contribute to annual budget planning for the Smart Business team client portfolio
- Build knowledge and understanding of our clients’ businesses and industry markets to ensure awareness of client needs
- Proactively develop and maintain client relationships by delivering outstanding customer experience to ensure trust and brand loyalty exists, ensuring Crombie Lockwood’s brand remains front of mind with our customers
- Contributes to the team by providing portfolio support where required, dedication to achieving KPI’s and meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of clients, internal stakeholders and the team
- Generates growth within the existing team portfolio and new business opportunities and actively participates as a positive member of the team
- Coach, train and mentor peers and new team members to develop their knowledge and capabilities.

**Ngā Pūkenga me ngā Wheako - Skills & Experience**:

- A minimum of two years working experience in a Commercial Broking role is
- Experience in any commercial role across the insurance industry would be considered
- Competent /advanced user of Microsoft Office
- Currently holds a Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5)
