**What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga**
The role, in collaboration with stakeholders across the People Experience (PX) and IT Divisions and under the guidance of the PX Systems & Insights Manager, will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting the new Workday HRIS. To excel in this position, you'll possess extensive knowledge and understanding of Human Resource practices and associated HR technology. **This is a fixed term contract until March 2025.**
- Work on the configuration, implementation and support of the Workday platform and configure Business Process definitions as necessary to meet business requirements.
- Perform Workday administrative functions which may include security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, and support for integrations.
- Ensure system configuration and business processes are in alignment with security governance and frameworks to ensure privacy and confidentiality is maintained.
- Collaborate with Workdays' implementation partner, internal teams, key system users/super users and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for system development and enhancements.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of job aids, training guides and process documentation.
- As required provide super user training to ensure users can effectively utilise the Workday system and new enhancements.
**About You | Mōu**
- Bachelor's degree in data analysis, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Systems Analyst or Design/Solution Analyst or similar role.
- Previous experience with Workday is essential
- Previous working experience on an HRIS implementation would be an advantage.
- Working knowledge of HR functional areas (HR staffing, compensation, benefits, learning, recruitment, performance and talent, absence management) is preferred.
- Efficient time management and adeptness at task prioritization.
- Analytical acumen, critical thinking, and adept problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective planning, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
- Capacity to multitask, manage competing priorities, navigate unexpected challenges, and exercise sound judgment.
- Proficient communication and presentation abilities, demonstrated in both written and verbal forms.
