About the role:
Day to day you will contribute to exciting water treatment, wastewater treatment, water supply, sludge and greenhouse gas emission projects.
Our team's work spans nation-wide and ranges from one-off, stand-alone projects through to working as part of multi-disciplinary teams on large, complex infrastructure, environmental and engineering projects. You will be involved in the design of projects such as large municipal wastewater treatment plants, commercial onsite treatment systems, community water treatment plants, and industrial trade waste treatment systems. Our process team also takes a leading role in delivering Net Zero strategies, and GHG reductions through innovative process engineering
Your precise duties and responsibilities will vary depending on your level of experience. We are open to people who are at either an intermediate or senior level. We offer a highly supportive environment and you will be mentored and supported by senior team members.
- About you:

- 2 to 5+ years’ experience in working on water/wastewater/industrial treatment projects or other relevant industries
- Detailed process engineering design experience; of new and existing water and wastewater treatment plants
- A process, chemical or mechanical engineering degree
- Ideally a Chartered Engineer (or working towards Chartership)
- A proactive approach to design, whilst seeking innovation to drive value
- Proven client liaison and communication skills
- Great team working ethos both internally and collaboratively with our clients and supply chain

This will place you in the centre of a thriving water team, allowing you to expand and grow your process engineering capabilities, enabling you to demonstrate and enhance your technical excellence and business acumen.
In turn, you’ll be working on a range of significant projects that shape the communities in which we live. You will build connections with our international colleagues and bring this knowledge to our clients and to their projects.

Our Auckland team is seeking a Process Engineer to join our water treatment team. You’ll be presented with an opportunity to leverage your knowledge, learn from our technical leadership, contribute to the ongoing growth of our business, and work closely with other disciplines across the water sector.
