Palmerston North Hospital offers a wide range of opportunities for basic and advanced trainees as follows:

- General Medicine
- Acute Medicine
- Cardiology
- Respiratory
- Renal
- Neurology
- Acute Geriatric
- Geriatric Medicine - basic and approved for 12 months advanced training
- Gastroenterology (approved for advanced training)
- Haematology
- Medical Oncology

There are also opportunities to do both an ICU and an Emergency Medicine rotation.

If you are successful in gaining a position, the service will do their best to accommodate your run preferences.
