Tyler Wren is working exclusively with this leading large insurance broking company in a newly created role of Client Compliance Specialist.

**About the role**:
You will support the Compliance Officer and the wider compliance team in managing and maintaining the Client Compliance Framework and conducting appropriate assurance checks on internal policies, procedures and practices. In this role, you will oversee the effective coordination, delivery and continuous improvement of the client compliance framework ensuring that its client obligations are met under the relevant legislation.

You will also ensure that changes to the business or projects within the business, consider and implement the compliance requirements. Supporting the FAP license obligations, appropriate Framework reporting, complaint and continued improvement oversight.Promoting a culture of doing the right thing and providing pragmatic compliance advice.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Maintain and enhance the Client Compliance Framework practices aligned with the relevant regulation
- Maintain and enhance the centralised compliance hub
- Manage the peer review process and performance monitoring and reporting
- Manage a programme of risk-based assurance including leading the learning and development in this space and developing business compliance training materials
- Execute reporting to the SLT and committees regarding client-oriented regulatory and compliance metrics
- Report, investigate, advise and monitor the completion of any corrective action in relation to client-oriented compliance
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualified in Finance or Law preferred
- New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), preferred
- Proven experience in compliance and regulatory positions within insurance or financial services
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to build relationships across the business
- Ability to drive changes and display strong business acumen
- Pragmatic problem solving skills
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
