PAK’nSAVE Masterton is seeking an ambitious** Retail Operations Manager** to become an **integral part of our store**. This is a **significant senior leadership opportunity** where you will be instrumental in propelling the success of our dry goods departments (overseeing a team of 6 duty managers and 31 staff) whilst **operationally overseeing** **the wider store.** If you’re looking for a diverse role and a pathway to store management, this is the role for you

**The Role**

In this dynamic role, you will take **ownership of our Dry Goods Departments** whilst **overseeing the operations of wider store**. You’ll contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the store through **active participation and support across all departments and teams.**
- Organise and supervise dry departments duty managers and floor teams to ensure the maintenance of sales and cost targets are in line with in-store targets.
- Supporting all department managers with continuous improvement and execution.
- Ensure the store is presented to a high standard by managing displays, promotions and events to provide customers with a great shopping experience.
- Performance management across all dry goods departments.
- Enhance the reputation of the business by promoting and encouraging ‘best practice’ - promoting our brand customer promises, Cheap As, Fresh As, Sweet As.

**What we’re looking for**
- Proven **management experience** within a **retail environment.**:

- **Motivated** and **driven** towards a successful grocery retail career.
- A **hands-on mindset** - our managers are “do-ers” and not afraid to jump in where needed.
- **Strong people leadership** experience - comfortable with rostering, performance management and disciplinaries.
- Knowledge of **FMCG** and/or **grocery retail** is desirable.
- SAP experience an advantage.
- ** Customer-centric** and passionate about delivering exceptional levels of customer service.
