Are you looking for a change? do you like making a difference? An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dynamic Nurse Manager has arrived in the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC). We are looking for a forward thinking, flexible Manager with expert leadership skills, to provide day-to-day management and clinical oversight of the IOC inclusive of the Bureau, Duty Manager Team, and Patient transfer services.
The IOC is responsible for the effective operational management of the 24 hours/7 days hospital service delivery at both Wellington Regional Hospital and Kenepuru Hospital. The centre (IOC) also supports clinical teams, systems, processes and resources that facilitate safe and effective service delivery across the organisation.
The environment is one of continuous change, you will need to be an advocate for the organisation - s strategic direction and change programme while providing leadership that enables this. Ideally you will have change management and strong experience in leading teams.
You - ll support the team and the wider organisation to ensure the service and organisational requirements such as safe staffing and capacity/bed management is delivered continuously by ensuring excellent supportive leadership, you will have strong links with the Care Capacity and Demand Management (CCDM) and Trendcare Coordinators.
You will need to have the legal right to work in New Zealand, and hold a current work visa to be eligible for the role.

The Team includes the Duty Nurse Managers, Associate Charge Nurse Managers, a Nurse Educator and Nurse Recruiter, Bureau Administrators, patient travel, Patient Care Coordinators as well as the Transit team.

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Significant acute care nursing experience and knowledge
- Proven management and leadership experience and knowledgeEssential Professional Qualifications / Accreditation's / Registrations:

- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as an RN
- Current practising certificate
- Masters qualification or working towards suchSomeone well-suited to the role will place a high value on the following:
