**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
This position exists to enable the Sector Operations group to provide contract support services to Te Whatu Ora, as well as contract and claiming support to the Primary Care sector. The main purpose of a Contracts Support Officer is to:
- Develop and maintain contract standards, systems and processes in accordance with Te Whatu Ora needs.
- Provide contract processing administrative resource to Te Whatu Ora Te Aka Whai Ora and Whaikaha.
- Provide support and issue agreements to enable delivery of Section 88 legislation.
- Develop and maintain standards, systems and processes for provider performance monitoring reporting.
- Maintain and deliver provider information to Te Whatu Ora.
**Mōu | About you**
You are a strong relationship manager and problem solver who can systematically analyse problems, and convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow. A busy environment doesn't faze you, and you are able to prioritise and adjust quickly with changes in workflow and priorities. Past roles have seen you develop an ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision, while providing feedback that assists with the work of the team.

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience
- Intermediate level of computer literacy including MS word and Excel and a willingness to learn other programmes and systems
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and a desire to produce high quality work
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good stakeholder relationships

The role being advertised is currently being assessed for mapping to a National Administration Role Profile. If this can be done, the role will be covered by the National Administration Workers Collective Agreement, including the remuneration and other terms and conditions of employment set out in that collective.
Please note that as the assessment of this role has not yet been completed, the salary and other terms and conditions of employment advertised will be as the most recent applicable employment agreement, and any changes to renumeration on completion of mapping will be backdated to the commencement date for any eligible employees.
