Our Governance Team is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Committee Advisor to support good decision-making processes for our Council and Community Boards.
Tino takohanga Key responsibilities
With responsibility for driving and supporting end-to-end meeting processes you need to be proficient in Microsoft Office (preferably a touch typist) and be able to demonstrate experience operating in a digital environment. You’ll need to be focused on providing high quality, impartial and timely advice to elected members, staff and the community.
This role is more than following a set of rules. Where there aren't black and white answers and the way forward isn't clear, you'll need sound judgement and research and decision making skills to resolve a wide variety of issues often within the public eye. You’ll be a master relationship builder across the organisation and the community.

To be successful in this role you will have initiative and the ability to work with integrity and confidentiality in a dynamic political environment. An eye for detail, a calm demeanour and a solutions focused, can-do attitude is a must.
