**The Role**:
This client is seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in solution architecture design to join the team. This role is deeply involved in project delivery and entails collaborating with our product owners to plan ahead on a portfolio of product roadmaps.

As a member of the team, you will bring technical vision and extensive experience to our organization, assisting us in producing software solutions in an agile, lean, and evolutionary manner.

You will take the lead in designing complex systems, and we will rely on your judgement, opinions, and insights to ensure early delivery and continuous improvement.

You will establish programming standards and spearhead the selection of technologies. Your ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, eliciting ideas from others and sharing technical ownership, will be crucial.

In addition to being a confident and hands-on programmer, you will stay up to date with emerging trends and possess the ability to rapidly prototype new ideas for assessment.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Developing, reviewing, and communicating solution architecture in collaboration with development teams
- Aligning design and implementation with product architecture and technical vision
- Establishing, maintaining, and communicating practices, standards, and expectations for all aspects of software delivery
- Developing strategies to address technical debt

**Required Skills**:

- Experience designing solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure (our preference) or AWS, including active involvement in building CI/CD pipelines, is essential.
- Highly desirable experience with streaming and messaging platforms like Kafka.
- Proven track record of achieving strategic objectives using lean product roadmaps.
- Proficiency in employing agile approaches to deliver incremental software enhancements.
- Prior responsibility for architecting solutions involving existing services and custom development.
- Demonstrated ability to provide valuable advice to clients and colleagues, striking a balance between technical excellence and commercial pragmatism.
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in quickly creating proof-of-concepts to validate solution decisions using unfamiliar technologies.
- Versatility in problem domains and/or solution types, with the ability to adapt patterns and draw insights from one situation to another.
