56 hours per fortnight (0.7 FTE)
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Pacific Health Promoter to join our Pacific Health Service within Te Whatu Ora, Te Matau a Māui (Hawke's Bay) to address and improve Pacific Health.
You'll work with key stakeholders in health services and Pacific community settings to ensure integrated planning and delivery of Pacific health initiatives, programmes and promoting health across Hawke's Bay. You'll be results focussed and will strive to ensure targets, budgets and service plans are achieved.
It is essential that you will hold a tertiary qualification in Health Promotion or Public Health and have experience in this field. In addition, you will:
Have demonstrated effective project management capabilities.
Have developed and maintained positive and professional relationships with all stakeholders
Have a collaborative approach to Pacific health promotion with the ability to empower and build capabilities in our community
Have used evidence-based practice and research to support your practice, programmes and initiatives.
Are you highly motivated to work towards Pacific health gains and reducing inequalities and inequities in our communities? Are you able to show initiative and innovation in finding solutions? If the answer is yes - we would like to hear from you.
