Initial Hygiene Service Technician

We are looking for a positive, energetic, and detailed-focused person who enjoys working in a service-orientated team environment, to join our high-performing team.
Operating across Hamilton, our Service Technicians visit various customer sites, providing services across a large portfolio of clients from small retail businesses to large corporates and government offices. They work through a planned schedule of visits within the Hamilton area.
This is a permanent role and you will be guaranteed to work a full 40 hours a week based around the Hamilton Area.

DUTIES

As a Service Technician, you will be working mostly by yourself and be the face of Rentokil Initial and our team. Your tasks will include:

- Servicing and maintaining our products in customer washrooms(including soap dispensers, hygiene bins, air fresheners)
- Cleaning
- Completing the pre-planned servicing within the required time
- Positively contributing to the team and safety culture within the organisation.
- Being aware of client's needs and identifying opportunities to improve service standards

We will provide you with all the training, uniform and equipment you’ll need to do the job well. This is not an easy job but our team find their roles enjoyable and rewarding. If you're not afraid of physical work and love the feeling of doing a job well, this could be your place to shine.
This role has great support from our operations team and Supervisors based in our local depot.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- a full and valid driver's license
- cleaning or related industry experience
- comfort in using technology and smartphones
- well presented, proactive and able to work well on your own
- a strong focus on excellent customer service and quality work
- able to carry out moderately physical, repetitive work
- following of instructions and procedures
- able to pass Ministry of Justice checks and any other relevant security checks as required

As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete pre-employment medical (including drug test), references and Ministry of Justice checks.
