American Express is a market leader in rewards, loyalty and data led marketing. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional Card Member Experience which involves a comprehensive marketing program including content, social, digital and physical marketing experiences. We are seeking an innovative marketer who can develop and execute strategy to deepen engagement with our Card Members in New Zealand. The position will also execute marketing campaigns across the NZ product portfolio including our Air New Zealand cobrand and proprietary Membership Rewards programmes.

Reporting to the Manager, Consumer Product & Marketing NZ, this role will develop and execute campaigns across loyalty and benefits, understanding and activating coverage and Amex Offers. This role works closely with industry leading marketing teams across American Express both locally in NZ, as well as in Australia and internationally.

This position is ideally suited to a motivated individual with an ability to manage multiple projects at one time and who is energized by challenging the status quo and has a passion for customer-centric marketing. This role is based in our Commercial Bay Office, working flexibly between the office (3 days) and remote environment best suited to you.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Execution of Card Member marketing campaigns, utilising digital, social, DM, eDM and other below the line channels to deepen engagement.
- Offer set up and communications support for Amex Offers - an innovative and highly targeted spend incentive and merchant offer platform.
- Membership site content management - amex.co.nz.
- Driving growth in awareness of American Express acceptance across New Zealand.
- Supporting product management, change and benefit reinforcement communications.
- Regular consultancy with the broader NZ team, Australian based marketing teams, central US & UK teams, and creative agencies.
- Collaboration with internal teams including product, marketing, legal and compliance to influence, gain alignment and drive results.
- Deliver campaign analytics, insights, and testing channel innovation.

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Results oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Dynamic, positive, and energetic attitude and work ethic
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously - uses project management skills to deliver to critical timelines and with excellent attention to detail
- Autonomous style suited to working in a flexible office environment
- Experience working with a varied marketing mix (digital & print / BTL & ATL)
- Knowledge of American Express Card products, services and benefits
- Team player who is flexible & maintains a positive attitude even during shifting priorities
- Tertiary qualifications preferably in marketing or business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills
- Budget management experience
