**What's so exciting about this role?**

We have an exciting new role in our Finance team, where you will support the business partnering efforts of the humm NZ & Canada portfolio in the Consumer business. This is a hands on role where you will be part of a high performing team while being closer to the action than traditional larger organisations.

**What Does An Average Day Look Like?**

No day is average at **humm **but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:

- Month end responsibilities, including:

- Driving the month end result process from an FP&A perspective for the NZ and Canada consumer portfolio, including liaising with Financial Control and the wider team to ensure reporting accuracy
- Preparation of high quality and timely reporting to help the business to understand performance and achieve volume, margin, and revenue targets
- Understanding value drivers of the different products including credit card income and credit risk and translating that understanding into financial impacts
- Supporting portfolio optimization in terms of NPAT, ROE and IRR with insights and commercial perspectives
- Providing input into business decisions through financial modelling and ad hoc analysis
- Leading portfolio management initiatives on behalf of finance, such as pricing changes
- Leading business cases and decision support for key projects, M&A and strategic partnerships
- Annual budgeting and strategic three-year planning, and ongoing forecasting activities
- Cash flow forecasting and reporting
- Supporting the overall Finance Business Partnering team

We are looking for someone who brings:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications; qualified CA / CPA / CIMA / CFA
- 3+ years experience in similar role (Retail Banking / Financial Services experience is highly desirable)
- TM1 and Power BI experience desirable
- Ability to build relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various management levels, including executives
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines, problem solve and analyse effectively
- Planning and forecasting skills, including financial modelling experience
- Strong systems skills in Excel and reporting tools
