We are looking for an experienced Senior Advisor to join our Planning Governance and Support team which provides support to the SDO Kāwai ki te Iwi Branch in DIA

**What you will bring to the role**:

- A strong understanding of the processes that underpin the operations of the public-sector environment, including Ministerial processes, accountability, and reporting
- Effective communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to communicate with credibility and convey information to a range of audiences
- Strong ability to plan, prioritise and reprioritise own work and understand connections across team and organisation
- Ability to quickly build rapport and credibility with internal stakeholders and maintain strong relationships
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.

The Senior Advisor role is an exciting opportunity that will see you supporting key pieces of work, business planning, reporting and machinery of government activities in our business group Te Waka Aukaha. Your highly collaborative style will enable you to build effective relationships across the business groups in Kāwai ki te Iwi and the wider DIA.
