**The details**: Casual Health Care Assistant. Negotiated hours between 0800 - 1630hrs Monday to Friday. Some weekend work may be available.

An opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to support our district nurses by working alongside them providing patient care in patients homes, and non-clinical tasks as required.

We currently have a vacancy for a Health Care Assistant to join our District Nursing Service in a casual capacity. An opportunity exists for a Health Care Assistant to work as and when required within the Hamilton and Rural Family Health Team working across Hamilton and surrounding Rural bases. The successful applicant will demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment in a changing environment, communication skills, and show a passion for working in the community.

We welcome applicants who are currently undertaking nursing studies. The Health Care Assistant works under the direct supervision of the registered or enrolled nurse.
