Passive Fire Technician

We can offer a long term opportunity in Passive Fire Protection.

We are looking for an experienced Passive Fire installer with a minimum of 2 years work experience. The position is permanent with a minimum of 30 hours per week and occasionally Saturday work. We would ensure that you have and necessary training to install our systems which in turn protects buildings in the commercial construction sector.
We would ideally like applicants that have skills with the tools or machinery so an outline of what you are competent using would be beneficial. In return we offer an hourly rate of $30 -$32p/h depending on experience.

Skills that will be essential:

- Attention to detail - accuracy is essential
initiative
- Good organisation as records of work done must be accurately noted
- An excellent work ethic - we need to be able to rely on you
- Clean driver's licence

Your tasks will include:

- Sealing of fire and smoke penetrations by way of compliant systems
- Have a strong understanding of passive fire compliance
- Attending sites and calls within expected timeframes
- Following technical drawings and plans
