We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Field Worker to join our Rivers Maintenance Department. This role contributes to the beautification and restoration of River Reserves including new plantings of natives and maintenance of existing plantings.
This role may also include operating our hydroseeding unit.
For the right person, this is a great opportunity to gain and expand knowledge and experience with native tree planting and care, chemical handling, chainsaw use, weed control, environmental control, and more.
- Hold a minimum of a Class 1 licence - Class 2 would be an advantage
- Be prepared, and fit, to carry our physical and manual tasks
- Be a team player
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Competence with chainsaws and Grow Safe Certificate is an advantage
