During this summer internship, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our highly skilled team and participate in a variety of projects. Through this experience, you will gain practical knowledge and insight into the electrical industry, enhancing your technical skills and setting a solid foundation for your future career.

The internship program will run from November 2023 to February 2024, during the summer period. We are looking for Engineering Interns in their first or second pro year of study. The internship will be based in Christchurch and contribute to your work experience criteria.

**The Internship**:

- Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.
- Conduct research and analyse data to support project objectives.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations as required.
- Substations site visits, in the field work experience.
- Leaning and Development workshops.

**About you**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (NZQA) in your first or second professional year of study.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Proficient in relevant software tools and programming languages.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Curiosity and a passion for the Energy sector.
