**About the Role**:
You'll be working as part of a passionate Occupational Therapy Team, dedicated to providing high quality support and treatment to our community, Inpatient ward and START.

Your role as part of the team, is to provide quality assessment and deliver safe and clinically effective interventions to support our clients to live their best life as independently as possible.

You'll have the opportunity to assess and treat wide range of conditions with surgical, orthopaedic, medical, neurological needs as well as manage a caseload of rehab patients, including stroke rehab. Work closely with another full time Occupational therapist and alongside Physio Therapists.

**We are looking for someone who has**:

- At least 18 months post qualification experience and ideally experience with the Ministry of Health funding process, however will consider new graduate Occupational Therapist | Kaiwhakaora Ngangahau
- Effective time management, prioritisation and organisation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Rehab experience
- Experience working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound clinical reasoning skills and use of the evidence informed practice
- A full New Zealand drivers licence
