Hotel Armitage are seeking an experienced and energetic Housekeeping Manager to join our friendly and dynamic team
We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead and inspire our Housekeeping Team and set an excellent standard of cleanliness.

The duties and responsibilities will include: *
- Being responsible for the smooth running of the housekeeping department through planning, directing, controlling and coordinating all housekeeping activities
- Monitor reservation forecasts for staffing needs to ensure adequate and cost-effective rostering
- Establishing standards and procedures within the department to ensure highest cleanliness standards in rooms and public areas
- Effectively communicate standards and expectations to the team through regular meetings and trainings
- Mentoring, training and upskilling housekeeping team members
- Ensure all Housekeeping employees are following hotel policies and rules
- Leading by example This role means you need to be hands on and prepared to work alongside the team
- Conducting room checks to ensure that room has been cleaned up to the required standard
- Previous Housekeeping Management experience
- Exceptional eye to detail
- Exceptional personal hygiene and grooming standards
- Strong organisational skills and time management skills
- Positive attitude and high work standards
- Experience in managing productivity in a large operation
