Hotel Armitage and Conference Centre in Tauranga is seeking a motivated Full Time (permanent) Chef to join our friendly team
Hotel Armitage runs a busy Conference Centre (5 conference rooms) along with a Restaurant and Bar (open for Breakfast and Dinner).
We are looking for an up-and-coming super star to complement our existing team: if you are a Chef de Partie looking for your next step, this would be a great opportunity for you

**What we need fr**om you**:
- Previous experience as a chef. The successful applicant will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Prep for service, preparing a la carte meals for customers in a busy and high-volume restaurant, minimising wastage and maintaining a clean and safe working area, assisting Head Chef with planning/costing menus, ordering, stock management and junior staff development/training
- Ability to work in a small team
- Excellent time management and work well under pressure
- An eye for detail and high standard of cleanliness
- Be a team player and excellent communicator
- Have a positive can-do attitude and bring your best every day
- Available to work week days and weekends - we are a 365, 24/7 business and have a weekly roster.
- No specific training is _necessary_, but a qualification in Food Hygiene, Cookery, Culinary Arts or equivalent experience (4 years) would be advantageous.
