Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
The purpose of the Senior Executive Assistant is to increase the overall effectiveness of the Regional Manager Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Tai Tokerau and the Te Kurutao Leadership Team as required. This role will work closely with other members of the Te Kurutao leadership group, and with the Manager, Office of the DCE Ringa Raupā to ensure an interconnected and seamless support service.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
To be successful in this role the Senior Executive Assistant - Te Kurutao will have
- Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Kāinga Ora's legislative requirements
- At least basic proficiency of Te reo me ōna tikanga Māori
- At least five years' prior experience working as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant to a senior manager/executive team member - or equivalent experience.
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Business/Management/Finance desirable.
- Organisational skills, especially the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Proven experience and knowledge of computerised financial systems and spreadsheet skills.
- Excellent time management, communication and training skills
- Ability to work as part of a team of support staff.
- A proactive, enthusiastic and energetic approach and an ability to work with a minimum of supervision on a day to day basis.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff at all levels of the organisation.
- Initiative, sound judgement and discretion.
- Strong capability in Microsoft Windows environment.
