**Purpose of Role**:
As a Technical Manager, you will be the key technical expert in the realm of export and regulatory compliance, with a primary focus on providing crucial technical support and direction to our Biosecurity & Field Services team.

**Areas of Responsibility**:
**Technical Expertise**:Interpret technical and regulatory requirements and translate them into operational procedures. Provide technical advice to the Biosecurity & Field Services management team.

**Team Support**:Provide technical advice and cover for team members during their leaves.

**Process Improvement**: Manage continuous improvement of KnowHow processes and Standard Operating Procedures to enhance service delivery efficiency and accuracy.

**Quality Assurance**: Determine the level of quality checks and audits required in consultation with the Quality Specialist.

**Quality Checks and Audits**:Conduct quality checks and audits as necessary and in collaboration with the Compliance Manager.

**Customer Liaison**:Act as a technical liaison with MPI, JASANZ and other customers.

**Response Ready**:Be available to play a key role when responses occur.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in technical management, ideally in regulatory framework and overseas market access requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
