The Allied Health Team Coordinator
- Physiotherapy,
Child Development Service, provides support to the Clinical Manager, Child
Development Service by taking on delegated leadership and operational tasks for
the Physiotherapy team at Child Development Service. This role also includes
managing your own clinical caseload.
The Child Development Service are a community based
team of allied health professionals who are passionate about improving the
health outcomes of children with developmental delays or disabilities.
This is a Permanent full time (1.0) vacancy 40
hours per week.

As the Allied Health Team Coordinator
- Physiotherapy, Child Development Service you will
- Provide day to day management and/or

supervision of physiotherapy staff at Child Development Service
- Provide professional leadership of
physiotherapy clinical activity and practice
- Manage the physiotherapy waiting list
and alongside Allied Health Team Coordinator
- Occupational Therapy the
wheelchair/seating waiting list
- Be involved in service and policy
development, quality improvement activities, and goal setting, working
alongside Allied Health Team Coordinator
- Occupational Therapy and Clinical
Manager, Child Development Service
- Manage a clinical case load of those
referred for physiotherapy and/or equipment assessmentEssential skills and experience:

- Minimum bachelor - s degree in

Physiotherapy.
- NZ Registration and current Annual
Practicing Certificate with the Physiotherapy Board.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical work
experience in paediatric Physiotherapy.
- Experience in people leadership
and/or management.
- Experience in quality /service
improvement activities.
- Experience in Case Management
- Experience making judgements in
complex situations where there is incomplete information or solutions are not
obvious.
- Knowledge of NZ Health &
Disability sector standards and the Privacy Act within a health context.
- Clearance under the provisions of the
Vulnerable Children - s Act (2014)
- Full Drivers LicenceNgā hua |
