Join the Strategy, Planning and Purchasing Business Unit who design the future of Hospital & Specialist Services. We work to 1-, 3-, 5-, and 10-year horizons in service delivery and enablers, with a 20-year horizon for infrastructure.

Our core workstreams this year include:

- Nationwide Clinical Service Planning with Clinical & Strategic Networks
- Service Prioritisation & Investment Pipeline
- Design Nationwide Strategic Change Programmes particularly in cancer and diagnostic services
- Nationwide Strategic Production Planning
- Strategic Budget & Funding System for Hospitals & Specialist Services
- HSS Intelligence & Insights

The **Investment Analyst** supports the provision of advice to Strategy Planning and Purchasing's Prioritisation and Investment team to make data and evidence driven decisions for the prioritisation of investments and investment changes in Hospital & Specailst Services. This role will provide key input to the investment pipeline for H&SS to ensure there is a robust system and process in place to inform national priorities and strategic planning.

You're a highly skilled and organised indivdiual who has the ability to pull together clear ideas and conclusions from technical information including data and write and talk about the issues with a range of audiences. The role requires excellent organisational skills, including the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.

- A relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience working in an analyst role
