Concrete Worker

We are after Concrete Workers for long term construction projects all around Hawke’s Bay $25 to $32 depending on experience.

ABOUT YOU
- At least 1 year experience working with Concrete.
- Willing to learn new skills
- Reliable work ethic
- Physically fit and able.
- Holds a current driver’s license.

ABOUT THE JOB
- Monday
- Friday, normally 7:30am - 5:00pm.
- Pay rate - $25-32 an hour.
- All PPE gear supplied.

- Opportunity to move up into supervisory role with time.

The following duties may also be included in your responsibilities:

- Read and interpret plans or drawings
- Weigh and mix concrete materials (gravel, sand, cement and water)
- Prepare boxing (formwork), using wire mesh to reinforce the concrete
- Pour, spread, compact, smooth and polish concrete
- Moulding expansion joints and edges
- Install items such as anchor bolts into concrete
- Monitoring the material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish.
