This is an opportunity for a motivated, innovative Registered Nurses who are keen to work a range of roles within the hospital and community setting - this mode of working is to support the needs and demands of our rural community. Flexibility of work area is essential but also exciting part of the rural nurse role. Orientation and education will be provided the chosen applicants. Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service
We are centrally located in the rohe of Te Nehenehui, Mid central North Island. We have close working relationships with our community. Medical officers from one of our three local practises are contracted to work within the hospital emergency department alongside our nurses team. We work as a multi-disciplinary team with our allied colleagues, palliative care, and mental health with the aim of providing seamless journey for those people who require our service/s. The inpatient ward and emergency work as one team. There are outpatient clinic of a wide range, nurse led clinics, District Nurse Service and Public Health Nurses.
