**He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role**

You'll provide support within a residential environment to adults with a mental health diagnosis, walk alongside tangata whaiora on their wellbeing journey, providing a safe environment and supporting them with their goals and daily tasks.

You'll empower and support our clients to be independent, to maintain their wellness and achieve their goals as we walk alongside them and assist in any way possible. Your days will be spent supporting tangata whaiora, having fun and taking them out on activities.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. You will be required to work on a 24-hour rotating roster between Monday and Sunday.

**He kōrero mōu | About You**

You'll be energetic and enthusiastic about working in mental health and supporting those in need to succeed. To be successful in this role it's desirable that you have previous experience in Adult Mental Health or Drug and Alcohol Addiction services, including client advocacy.

You'll show initiative, the desire to set ongoing quality improvement standards of practice, and the ability to work within a team containing different personalities.

You'll have a strong cultural background, and as we're inclusive and celebrate diversity, we're looking for people who share these values and can see the potential in people.

Computer skills are a must, as part of your role will require writing reports and conducting assessments. A full New Zealand driver is essential to support clients get to appointments and engage in community activities.
