**Job Description**:
As a Technical Product Manager, you will join our dynamic, focused and fast paced Global Product team. This position is responsible for specific lifecycle activities for the TFF product portfolio. The objective for this is to achieve a much-consolidated product portfolio with well-defined product versions that are safe, compliant, and designed for service. In this role, you will use our established processes of engineering change, lifecycle reviews and end-of-life to achieve this for the products or versions/components of our products (such as carriers, solenoids etc.) The alignment with engineering, operations and service will result in significantly streamlined spare part portfolio and stock management, a safe and compliant portfolio and contribute to achieve a higher service satisfaction with our customers.

Here's a sneak peek into some of what you will be doing:

- Develop a deep understanding of the customer, competitor offerings, and market trends to identify new opportunities and support decision making on innovation and lifecycle priorities
- Build relationships with internal & external customers to understand customer's needs and translate them into project requirements
- Create and present business cases for products and features, and work with the Innovation Council and Engineering Management to communicate and prioritize the product roadmap
- Work with globally distributed Engineering teams to define the scope and objectives for engineering projects
- Determine and optimize lifecycle status of our products incl. price positioning and cost improvements to meet revenue and profitability goals
- Work with our global Operations and Service teams to successfully manage component obsolescence and product phase out

**Qualifications**:

- Engineering degree or other higher-level technical qualification
- At least 3 years' professional experience in product management, project management, engineering or service of complex industrial equipment
- Experience in the food industry or any other industry engaged in sensor technology is a plus
- A proven ability to effectively manage projects to a desired outcome
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and proven track record in stakeholder management
- Ability to work 1-2 days per month from the other major NZ office (Auckland or Hamilton) that isn’t your home office: to foster more collaboration between both offices and hold team meetings in person
