**Salary**: $59,627 - $68,340

**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

This is a front-line, entry level, junior, security administration role based at the Central Region Forensic Inpatient and Rehabilitation Mental Health Services. This role is based on the Ratonga Rua o Porirua Campus - in particular, Purehurehu Forensic Inpatient unit.

The Security Administrator will support the Administrative team in day to day functions to the service users, whanau & staff. Day to day tasks may include greeting people entering the unit and basic administrative duties such as data inputting. You will be well supported by an Administrative team made up of an Administrator Coordinator, Administrator and the Rangipapa Security Administrator. You will work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team.

Purehurehu is a male secure facility and Rangipapa is a male/female secure facility - both units provide treatment, assessment and rehabilitation for tangata whaiora/consumers who are required to undergo psychiatric assessment prior to a court hearing and also for consumers committed to a mental health facility under the Criminal Procedure (Mentally Impaired Persons) Act 2003 or Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992.
