The role of a Kaiāwhina is to assist Kaiako in delivering our Te Reo Māori programme in a proactive, supportive whānau based environment. This role also assists the Kaiako in preparing resources and classrooms and virtual online learning, monitoring student attendance, general administration task and student recruitment.

Applicants will hold a Mātauranga Maori qualification and be able to converse in Te Reo Māori and must have a thorough knowledge of Tikanga Māori. At least one years’ experience in a similar role. A full driver’s licence is also required.

The ideal applicant will be available to work evenings some days and weekends.
