**Job Title: Social Worker Older Persons Mental Health Service**

**Location: Hutt Valley**

**Salary: Up to $85,992**

**Permanent - Full Time**
Carejobz is working in partnership with a client who is seeking a compassionate and dedicated social worker to join their team of mental health professionals serving older adults in our community.

As a social worker, you will be responsible for providing essential support and care to our elderly clients who are struggling with mental health issues.

Your main duties will include conducting assessments and developing therapeutic care plans, delivering social work intervention to support the treatment and recovery of clients, assisting clients and whanau to achieve optimal healht, well-being and safety through the provision of appropriate assessment, treatments, assessmenta and rehabilitation, linking clients to community resources, and working collaboratively with their multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Degree in Social Work
- NZ Registration with current annual practicing certificate
- Clinical experience applicable to the position
- Desriable is experience working with older adults in a mental health setting
- Knowledge of mental health disorders and their impact on older adults
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Current full drivers licence
- A high standard of written and spoken English
