My Client is a Dental clinic based in Devonport. If you have a strong Administrator background, have great customer service skills, and have been looking for a new challenge with not one day being the same then look no further They are needing someone with an IMMEDIATE start

This will start as a 1-2 month temporary role with the possibility of it going permanent. The role is full-time, Monday - Friday with approximately 40 hours a week. Full training will be provided.

This person will be an integral part of the administration team within the organisation, so needs to have a can-do attitude, great time management skills, ability to prioritise and self-manage workload. You will need to have huge flexibility as you will need to do whatever is required and this can change daily. You do not need Dental experience but would need to be a fast and proactive learner The main purpose of this job is to provide reception and administrative services for the dental practice.

**Duties include**:

- Meet and Greet of Patients
- Keeping patient details up to date
- Appointments are altered and rearranged courteously and promptly as required. Canceled appointments are rebooked as efficiently as possible; maximum effort is made to minimise lost clinical time for dentists and hygienists.
- Patients are invoiced for treatment after each appointment as instructed by the dentist or dental hygienist.
- ACC, Ministry of Health, and other government dental subsidies are understood.
- Accurate patient information is entered into the computer system in a timely manner
- Patient information, including a patient’s presence in the hospital as well as their condition, treatment, and medical history is kept confidential at all times
- Booking in appointments and follow-ups
- Computer data, including financial and patient information, are entered as required.
- General administration
**To be considered you will ideally have**:

- Proven medical reception experience (not essential but would be helpful)
- Healthcare background (not essential but would be helpful)
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work within a busy clinic
- Flexibility to take on a variety of duties
- Effective communication written and verbal
- Current driver’s licence
