- **12-month, fixed term opportunity**

As an Auckland Council-controlled organisation, Tātaki Auckland Unlimited delivers a co-ordinated, region-wide programme to maximise cultural, social and economic benefits for our residents and visitors.

**He kōrero mōu: The Opportunity**

We are searching for a Communications Advisor to help tell the story of Auckland’s screen sector, including the significant economic and social benefits it brings to the region.

As our new communications star, you will be responsible for developing, delivering and managing Screen Auckland’s communications strategy.

You’ll be part of our close-knit communications team, reporting to the Communications Manager - Investment and Industry and working closely with the Screen Auckland Manager.

Key responsibilities:

- Collaborating with Tātaki Auckland Unlimited’s wider Investment and Industry rōpū (group), to ensure Screen Auckland messaging supports the wider organisational mission.

With at least four to five years’ generalist communications experience, you are ready for the next challenge.

You love Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, you’re a natural storyteller, an excellent writer, can work at pace, and are curious or even passionate about the creative industries.

You’re a plain English pro who encourages and champions the use of Te Reo Māori and has a high level of cultural sensitivity and awareness.

You’re enthusiastic, able to identify opportunities for improved communications solutions and happy to share your creative ideas to communicate with diverse stakeholders via a range of channels.

You can keep composed under pressure and think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

We are a collaborative team and with lots of exciting projects on the go, we’re looking for someone experienced who can integrate quickly and join us in harnessing Auckland’s potential for a better future.

Please see here for the position description for this opportunity.

**Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer**

This is a 12-month, fixed term contract role.

You’ll be joining a team of respected experts who work together within the organisation and across the region to contribute to Auckland’s growth and development.

We are committed to diversity and enhanced Māori outcomes, and we have a culture built on trust and valuing individual and collective contributions.

Tātaki Auckland Unlimited offers:

- Competitive salary
- Flexible working
- Mentoring and development opportunities

If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you
