About the role:

- Day to day you will lead the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects spanning water and wastewater networks; treatment plants; stormwater schemes; and related infrastructure.
- You will join an innovative and motivated team of engineers based in our Central Auckland office, preparing outline and detailed civil engineering designs, producing technical and commercial specifications, drawings, and schedules, managing projects and working in close partnership with clients and contractors.
- This role will be pivotal broadening our existing relationships with local clients and will present you with a fantastic opportunity to further develop your technical and management skills through your project work, with great prospects for career progression as the business continues to grow. You will also be able to use your skills and experience to mentor more junior members of the team.

- About you:

- You are looking for the role which will place you in the centre of a thriving water team, to expand and grow our engineering capabilities, enabling you to demonstrate and enhance your technical excellence and business acumen.
- If this sounds like you, we'd also like you to have:
- Over 10 years' experience
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- Extensive civil engineering experience with capability in a range of civil water design skill areas
- Design management experience including working in complex, large infrastructure projects
- Proven consultancy and business development skills with a passion and motivation for building deep and enduring relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working with contractors, and on-site construction monitoring
- The ability to lead and influence in a way that helps achieve stretch targets and creates value for our clients beyond expectations.
- Be open minded, assertive, cooperative and vision driven with a strong sense of team.
