This will be a full time position for a skilled cook in Indian cuisine offering at least 30 Hours/week at $30 / hour

Minimum 2 years Work Experience as a cook is a requirement.

Work will be based at Te Awamutu, NZ
- The employee shall prepare and cook Authentic Indian Dishes as directed by
the employer or by his representative in a way as it is required by the
organization. This will include all Indian curries, Tandoori dishes and Indo
Chinese dishes.
- The employee shall keep all the premises related to his work place clean at
all times according to the norms of the council and as directed by his
employer. This may involve dishwashing as and when required by the
employer.

.work in sync with the other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation efficiently
- Assist with stock take and forecast the stock required for the week in advance
- Ensure Excellent presentation of food

.Must be able to work independently without supervision.

.Excellent time management and Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure

.Proven experience as an Indian Chef or relevant role in a high-end restaurant and a thorough knowledge in Indian spices and techniques.

.Implement all the Health & safety and Hygiene standards as mentioned by the council.

**Salary**: $29.75 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 32 per week
