**PROCUREMENT OFFICER**:
**JOINERY PURCHASING**

An exciting, newly created position for an experienced procurement professional to join their team delivering high-spec interior fit-outs and bespoke joinery to the commercial and retail sector throughout New Zealand.

**THE POSITION**:
Responsible for measuring and quantifying joinery products and researching and selecting suppliers along with the QS team and Factory Manager across a broad range of projects. You will be involved in the daily negotiations, planning and management of supply procedures, compliance and delivery, as well as the budget for purchasing goods and services.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- You know how to interpret plans for builds and what needs to be ordered from those plans.
- You have relevant procurement / purchasing experience in the cabinet making / joinery / shopfitting or a related industry in New Zealand.
- You will be analytical with an eye for detail and
- Excellent financial knowledge
- Well honed negotiation skills
- Ability to optimize systems and processes and deliver significant cost saving and efficiency gains to the business.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships and improving Supplier relationships is vital to this role and as such you will be highly customer focused and service orientated.
