**Mō te Tūranga **| About the Role**

Due to an internal promotion, we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial banking professional to join the BNZ team in Nelson and progress their career in an equally challenging yet exciting role. This role will give you the opportunity to support some of our largest customers across the Top of the South to achieve their goals.

We spoke with our Senior Partner in Nelson who let us know the following about the role:
**What does a day in the life of a Commercial Partner look like?**

No day is the same and it's this variety is what makes the role so exciting. A typical day might entail;
- In the morning you're out on-site with one of your customers reviewing their annual business plan and understand their funding needs for the year ahead.
- Over lunch you have your Business Development hat on attending an industry event or meeting a new potential customer
- During the afternoon you're back in the office or working from home analysing financials and the information you have gathered to structure lending assessments.

Any way you have it, you'll learn and grow, and get to work with a range of industry leading BNZ specialists to ensure the delivery of appropriate products and services to meet our customers' requirements.
