Storeroom Manager

We have a full-time role available here at New World Kawerau as our Storeroom Manager. You would be leading a team of three in successfully ensuring that all goods coming into the store are accounted for accurately, stored appropriately and that the storeroom operates effectively and efficiently. You will also be responsible for ensuring that waste is controlled, damages are dealt with, and stock is returned when and where appropriate.

The successful Appliant needs to be an effective communicator, is able to set and uphold standards and will role model the desired (positive) culture and behavior.

Also essential to the role is:

- Current Fork Hoist Licence
- Clean Driver’s Licence
- Computer literate
- Retail experience to supervisory level
- Physically fit and able to fulfil the requirements of the role.

It is also desirable if you have:

- Unit standard 497
- Good command of written / spoken English
- Good basic math skills
- SAP system experience
- FMCG experience
- Food retail experience
- Storeroom experience

You must also be legally able to work in New Zealand.

This role is for 40 - 45 hours per week. One weekend day may be required.
