**About the role**:
We're seeking our next Junior Integration Software Engineer who will be brave enough to think outside the box and constantly strive towards improvement. Your role will require to provide technical solution design and software development for new and existing solutions complying with our evolving architecture. This is central to helping us achieve our goals of interoperability with quality software being released in accordance with our best practice.

**About you**:
We are at the beginnings of a journey to Microsoft Azure Cloud adoption and require adaption to support the current.NET web services and MuleSoft Anypoint platform. Future support for CPI development in the SAP Business Technology Platform is planned. Therefore, knowledge and experience with any of these platforms would be beneficial. We also have Service Level Agreements with certain systems in Council, so you would need to support these is essential services. You will also have:

- A computer science degree or graduate diploma in ICT (NZQA Level 7)
- A minimum of 2 years proven experience in the ICT industry
- You'll utilise your excellent communication skills and positive manner to develop meaningful relationships with key stakeholders to achieve success
- Principles and techniques of systems analysis, design, and testing
- Principles of program documentation and working knowledge of version control
- Analyse business problems and developing solutions to address
- Express difficult and complex concepts clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail and prioritise tasks
- Write clear and logical program documentation
- Willingness to learn new technologies and other platforms if required
