**About the role**
As Senior Customer Contracts Advisor - Technical, you’ll act as technical specialist across the Customer Contracts teams, facilitating collaboration with our engineering teams and monitoring adherence to Vector design standards for customer-initiated works.

You’ll liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to manage the scoping and contracting of a large volume of technically and commercially complex customer-initiated projects, providing sound commercial and technical advice.

You’ll work with new and existing industrial, commercial and residential customers to establish their requirements, develop the scope and agree commercial terms with technical and legal support to enable delivery by our customer programme team.

You’ll also be responsible for managing project risk and maintaining accurate, up-to-date project records during the project design and contracting stage.

**Who we are looking for**
- Preferably you’ll hold a qualification in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- You’ll have a wealth of experience leading customer/project engagements in complex environments, with the ability to engage and address requirements across the spectrum of the end-to-end customer value chain - eg legal and contracting issues; complex coordination; incident investigations and reporting; and complex stakeholder management
- You’ll come from a technical environment, with a familiarity with technical/engineering concepts and the ability to read, understand and review single-line drawings and control schematics
- You’ll have an understanding of project methodology, and experience of project lifecycles
- You’ll be adept at thinking strategically, with a sound understanding of commercial contracting terms.
