Pay: $55-65

Hours: Mon Fri 45 hour week

**THE JOB**:This is a Sales Cadet / Trainee role that will, for the right person, progress into a Sales Consultant position (as the previous Cadet who is now a Senior Sales Consultant can attest to). You will be involved in a mix of both office and on-site work, learning the industry and business thoroughly from the ground up. Responsibilities include completing sales documentation, marketing support, lead generation, sales calls, and client database management. You will get to travel throughout the North Island, working closely with the Senior Sales Consultant, whilst learning the ropes of their sales process.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Career-wise you will have a long runway ahead and a desire to progress into a sales consultant role, yet be willing to take a step-by-step approach to get there.
- Practically minded and adaptable to working outdoors you may have a background in engineering, agriculture, forestry, manufacturing, or construction.
- Self-motivated and driven you follow up leads, create new opportunities and arent afraid to pick up the phone and make a connection with customers.
- Flexible and readily available for travel to sites, sometimes overnight.
- Sound computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office suite.
- Experience with databases, CRM software programmes, social media marketing, and putting together proposals and reports would be desirable.
- Sales experience is preferred,however, we are more interested in your outgoing and engaging attitude, self-motivation, attention to detail, time management and organisation skills, ability to build relationships, passion to learn, grow and develop, and of course your desire to make the most of this exciting opportunity
